Dropshare for Mac optionally creates an HTML landing page for each of your uploads. If you want to enable this feature, open the Preferences and select the Landing page tab.
Set the tick mark for "[X] Enable landing pages for shared files" if you want Dropshare for Mac to create a landing page for your uploads.
In case you want to disable the landing page for a single upload, press and hold the option key (⌥) while dragging a file to Dropshare for Mac.

Why is the landing page omitted when I drag & drop files from some applications (e.g. Napkin.app?)
This is a bug we're unable to fix, but we offer a workaround for it (works with Dropshare 3.10 and newer). Open Terminal.app and execute the following command:
defaults write net.mkswap.Dropshare alwaysIgnoreAltWhenDragging YES
Dropshare 4 and newer
defaults write net.mkswap.Dropshare4 alwaysIgnoreAltWhenDragging YES
This will always produce landing pages for your uploads, even when you hold the ⌥ key while dropping the file onto the Dropshare icon. Read more about this.
To disable this workaround, use the following command:
defaults write net.mkswap.Dropshare alwaysIgnoreAltWhenDragging NO
Dropshare 4 and newer
defaults write net.mkswap.Dropshare4 alwaysIgnoreAltWhenDragging NO
